2010 - What a start to the Year
Welcome to 2010.
Like you we have been battling with the weather, with our northern operations in Rochdale and North Wales, under almost unprecedented falls of snow; saving animals and police cars from snow drifts; two staff houses flooded from pipe bursts and frequent power failures at the main office which showed that our UPS was more of an IPS. We have hopefully got through the worst of it.
James Dodds published an article in December issue of Mineral Planning magazine (Article link) 20100118170659078.pdfon ground source heat from wet restored quarries; combining our unique expertise in quarrying hydrogeology and hydrology and Thermogeology.
We look forward to starting the year with some interesting independent water supply projects for chemical works, breweries, golf courses and irrigation; and we are looking forward to the UK Irrigation Association Conference on Water & Food Security on Thursday 4 March in Peterborough.
